Riverside County Nonprofit Roundtable Announces Availability of $14.5 Million in Grants

July 13, 2023

The Riverside County Nonprofit Roundtable is now accepting applications for the $14.5 million Riverside County Nonprofit Assistance Fund. Grants are available for local nonprofits to support direct funding, programs and technical assistance. These grants aim to support and empower nonprofit organizations across Riverside County, enabling them to continue their valuable work in serving the community.

Grants will be distributed equally amongst the five supervisorial districts within Riverside County. This ensures a fair and equitable allocation of funds, benefiting nonprofits from all corners of the county. Preference will be given to nonprofit organizations with operating budgets under $1 million, recognizing the unique challenges faced by smaller organizations and their importance within the local nonprofit sector.

Nonprofits play a vital role in addressing critical needs and improving the quality of life for individuals and communities. These grants will provide much-needed resources to support programmatic initiatives, direct assistance, and technical guidance to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of nonprofit organizations.

To access additional information about the fund and to apply for funding, interested parties should visit the nonprofit roundtable website. Comprehensive details about eligibility criteria, application requirements, and timelines are available on the website. The application process is user-friendly and designed to ensure a transparent and streamlined experience for all applicants.

"We are thrilled to launch the Riverside County Nonprofit Assistance Fund and offer this significant financial support to our local nonprofit community," said Supervisor Karen Spiegel, Second District. "These grants will enable nonprofits to expand their impact, enhance their capabilities, and continue their outstanding work in serving the diverse needs of our county residents."

The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 6 pm. Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply to access funding that can make a transformative difference in their ability to create positive change within Riverside County.
