COUNTY SERVICE AREA 149 – ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Purpose: To study general specific issues and problems of County Service Area 149. In addition, to advise and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on road maintenance and improvements, budgetary and other matters that may affect said Area. The Advisory Committee shall also recommend to the Board of Supervisors an annual budget for County Service Area No. 149.

Qualifications for Appointment: Resident voters/owners of real property within the boundaries of County Service Area No. 149. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Tenure/Term of Office: Two (2) Years.
Number of Appointees: Five (5) Members (Five (5) Zones – One regular and one alternate from each zone). All members shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors.
Composition: The Advisory Committee shall consist of five resident-voters and/or owners of real property within the boundaries of County Service Area 149.
Officers: The committee shall select from among its members a Chairperson, an Assistant Chairperson, and a Secretary. Officers shall be selected at least annually, at the first meeting after the appointment of new members for new terms.
Frequency: Third Tuesday every 3 months at 7:00 pm
