Anza Valley Mountain Communities Municipal Advisory Council

Created/Established on: April 12, 1988 – 3.5a: Resolution 88 89, Creating the Anza Valley Mountain Communities Municipal Advisory Council.

Purpose: To serve as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors on matters including but not limited to public health, public works, welfare, safety, and planning in the Anza Valley area.

MEMBER CRITERIA

Qualifications for Appointment:
All Appointees must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and shall maintain a residence or conduct a business within the boundaries of the said territory.

Number of Appointees: Five (5) Members

Officers: The Advisory Council shall choose from among its members a presiding officer, an assistant presiding officer and a secretary. This shall be done at the first meeting after the appointment of the Advisory Council and every year thereafter.
