SUNDAE SAYLES –
Sundae is the Legislative Assistant responsible for issues and concerns in human and social services including Department of Public Social Services (DPSS), Housing Authority, Community Action Partnership, First 5, and Veterans Services.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Sundae started her public service with the federal government while working at the Library of Congress. She later moved to Corona, CA in 1989 where she currently resides. Prior to starting her career with the County, Sundae worked for the Law Firm of Carney & Delany, LLP for nine years while maintaining a home-based business providing service to non-profit organizations.
In 2008, she accepted a position with the Riverside County Human Resources Department and also served as liaison to the Riverside County Commission for Women. She joined the 3rd District Board of Supervisor’s staff in March 2015. Sundae holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies, graduating magna cum laude from California Baptist University, Riverside.
She and her husband Earnest Jr. have a beautiful family of three sons, Markis, Earnest III and Terrell who have all excelled through the Corona-Norco Unified School District. Sundae has a passion to serve others and see that others understand their true value. Her utmost goal is to continually live-out the “Golden Rule” to treat others as you would have them treat you.
