Legislative Assistant



 Brian is a Legislative Assistant for Riverside County Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington.  His areas of responsibilities include:  Public Safety and Emergency Response, Law Enforcement agencies, Fire Departments, District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Courts System, Probation Department, Code Enforcement, Emergency Management Department, The Riverside University Health System to include: The Medical Center, Public Health, Behavioral Health and the Care Clinics.

Brian worked for the Public Health Department for 9 years as a Program Director for the Emergency Preparedness and Response Branch, supervising and developing programs, procedures and managing grants.

Brian is a retired United States Marine Corps Master Sergeant, with 22-year Marine Corps Service and is an elected official on the City Council for the City of Lake Elsinore since 2010.

His education includes a Master of Science degree in Emergency Services Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management/Human Resources. In addition, he has several certifications from The Department of Homeland Security, FEMA and the California Emergency Management Agency.

Brian has two children, Nicholas (16) and Lauren (13).
